This collection includes the correspondence, reports, financial records, and internal memoranda of USC officials such as Charles Joy, Robert Dexter, Edward Cahill, Raymond Bragg, Howard Brooks, Martha and Waitstill Sharp, Noel Field, Seth Gano and Elizabeth Dexter. Subjects covered include fundraising, outreach, Service Committee operational committees, refugee and displaced person projects in postwar Europe, the Service Committee by-laws and constitution, and the Service Committee's relationship with the American Unitarian Association. A number of organizations are also represented here, such as the American Christian Committee for Refugees, the Refugee Relief Trustees, and the American Friends Service Committee.
